Recent Activities

1. Promotion of academic capacity and the rights of the members
Promoted academic exchanges among the members and contributed to the enhanced academic capacity of the members by providing easier access to a variety of information, and protecting the rights of the Society and the members thereof.

2. Bulletin of the Society Published
The first issue was published in 1984, and the bulletin has been published semi-annually since 1994. In 1999, the Society began to publish them every quarter. Now the bulletin has grown to the most authentic among the periodicals published in the oriental medicine field, and is supported by Korea Research Foundation.

3. National and International Academic Conferences Held
Including the international academic conference held in Tokyo in September 1974, and the 4th international acupuncture academic conference, the Society has been consistently participating in and holding academic conferences. Currently, the national academic conference is held twice a year.

4. Special Seminars on Acupuncture
Special seminars on acupuncture are held monthly, in order to improve academic capacity of the members, as well as for adding substantiality to the education of the doctors in the newly introduced medical specialist system.
